Shigi Hunnime: NWKRTC Arranges Special Bus Service to Yellammana Gudda

Hubballi: On the occasion of Shigi Hunnime, the North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has arranged special bus services from Hubballi and Navalgund to Yellammana Gudda for the convenience of devotees visiting the Shri Renuka Devi temple in Savadatti, as well as other passengers.
This service will be available on Thursday, October 17, and Friday, October 18, as announced by Hubballi Divisional Controller H. Ramanagouda.

Every year, on the day of Shigi Hunnime, a large number of devotees from Hubballi, Navalgund, and nearby areas visit Yellammana Gudda to seek the blessings of Shri Renuka Devi in Savadatti. This year, Shigi Hunnime falls on Thursday, October 17, and Friday, October 18, is the Devi’s weekly worship day, so a significant number of devotees are expected to travel. For their convenience, as well as for other passengers, additional special buses have been arranged to travel directly from Hubballi and Navalgund to Yellammana Gudda.

In Hubballi, the special buses will depart from Hosur Bus Stand.

Hubballi – Yellammana Gudda: These buses will travel via Dharwad, Aminabhavi, and Savadatti to reach Yellammana Gudda.

Navalgund – Yellammana Gudda: These buses will depart from Navalgund Bus Stand and travel via Gobbaragumpi Cross, Gobbaragumpi, Alagawadi, Hanchinalli, and Hirekumbi to reach their destination.
